Ingredients:
- 1 Box Butter Pecan Cake Mix
- 2 Sticks butter
- 3 Eggs
- 1 (16-ounce) box of confectioners' (powdered) sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, 1 stick of the butter (pre-melted), and 1 egg.
- Press this into the bottom of a Pam coated 9 x 13 baking pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese w/ 1 stick of butter (also pre-melted) and 2 eggs.
- Beat in confectioners' sugar a little at a time until it is homogeneous paste.
- Pour over the previous layer.
- Bake at 300 degrees for up to 55 minutes (the top will be lightly browned and a toothpick stuck in it will not come out gooey).
- Cool and cut into squares.
